The Modern Atlanta Dance Festival offers performance opportunities to individual artists and dance companies in Metropolitan Atlanta. The MAD Festival, first presented in 1995, is Atlanta's only professionally adjudicated modern/contemporary dance event. More than fifty different metro Atlanta individual artists and/or companies have been presented on the MAD Festival stage.
The MAD Festival provides audiences with the highest quality of dance and cultivates new audiences for contemporary dance, particularly those who are attracted by the festival format. Audiences experience a variety of choreographers, techniques, and artistic visions in a single evening, while the interactive format builds community between the many artists and their audiences.

Sponsors and partners are being sought for the Spring 2010 Modern Atlanta Dance Festival, and sponsorships are availble at a variety of levels of committment. Interested organizations are invited to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for your support.
The MAD Festival has been the one consistent opportunity for Atlanta-based choreographers to come together and share new work. One of my favorite memories of MAD is sitting next to a couple who had come to the MAD Fest not knowing what would be presented but hoping to see Zoetic, and finding us there. It's recognized as an event that brings together Atlanta's best and brightest. The MAD Festival is always surprising, always fun, and Zoetic looks forward to it every year!
